Presentation: State of the County
Mayor Lincoln will present the “State of the County,” offering an informative overview of the health of Monroe County’s economy, environment, and the overall wellbeing of our residents and visitors. This presentation will provide valuable insight into the issues, opportunities, and priorities shaping our community.
About Mayor Michelle Lincoln
Elected to the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners (District 2) in 2018, Mayor Lincoln currently serves as President of the Florida Association of Counties and chairs the South Florida Regional Council. She is active at the state and national levels, including service on the National Association of Counties (NACo) Community, Economic and Workforce Development Steering Committee, and is a Certified, Advanced, and Advanced II County Commissioner graduate.
Previously, Mayor Lincoln served three years on the Marathon City Council, including one year as Mayor. A Monroe County resident since 1999, she has a long-standing commitment to community service, having worked as a Child Advocate Coordinator for the Guardian ad Litem Program and continuing to volunteer today. She is the recipient of the 2018 Kay Gradick Woman of the Year Award and mentors with Take Stock in Children.
Mayor Lincoln is a member of Rotary and several Chambers of Commerce and is an alumna of Leadership Monroe County. She holds a B.S. in Psychology from Northern Kentucky University and is the proud mother of two daughters and a son-in-law.
